Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time State Licensed Legal Counsel will provide strategic legal advice on commercial transactions, drafting and managing agreements, while working remotely and collaborating with various business units.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements
- Advise business leaders on compliance, operational, and corporate matters
- Identify legal risks and develop proactive solutions to support business objectives
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law and member in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 5+ years of legal experience in corporate law, focusing on commercial transactions
- Strong understanding of intellectual property and data protection laws
- Experience with drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial transactions
