Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Legal to support healthcare and commercial law functions related to oncology product commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as lead brand attorney for the first product candidate, advising on commercialization strategies
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and provide legal advice on healthcare law and compliance matters
• Partner with Compliance on training materials and advise on risk management related to pharmaceutical product commercialization

Required Qualifications

• Juris doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active state bar admission
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company or law firm
• Significant experience with commercial, medical affairs, and R&D departments
• Expertise in FDA regulations, anti-kickback laws, and privacy laws
• Experience with pharmaceutical product launches and market access contracting preferred
