Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop, edit, and draft practical guidance on state and local government topics
- Draft, review, and annotate form documents, templates, and checklists
- Monitor legal developments, trends, and news relevant to state and local issues
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active or retired bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state
- 3+ years of experience in state and local government issues
- Experience with laws and regulations impacting state and local government strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and online legal research platforms
