State Licensed Legal Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Legal Specialist to support compliance processes and assist with legal inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with licensure applications and submissions to state agencies
- Conduct legal research and summarize relevant laws and regulations
- Proofread contracts and assist with internal data tracking and compliance projects
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school or a license to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction
- 3+ years of regulatory or legal assistant/paralegal experience
- Ability to identify operational issues and legal risks
- Experience in legal writing and understanding of basic legal citations
- Preferred business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting
