State Licensed Leveraged Finance Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a State Licensed Leveraged Finance Attorney, this remote engagement role offers flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, or anywhere in-between) and focuses on representing lenders and borrowers in leveraged finance transactions, including LBOs and acquisition financings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage leveraged finance transactions, including drafting and negotiating credit facilities and agreements
• Provide legal advice to clients on complex banking and finance matters with minimal ramp-up time
• Collaborate with banking and financial institution clients to ensure compliance and effective transaction execution

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of leveraged finance experience at an AmLaw 100 firm
• Strong understanding of credit agreements, security agreements, and syndicated lending transactions
• Excellent academic credentials and outstanding references
• Licensed and in good standing in the state of residency
• Experience with asset finance, structured finance, or fund finance is highly preferred
