Job Summary
Leading a team of adjusters, the full-time remote State Licensed Liability Claims Supervisor will manage claims handling, ensure operational excellence, and support clients with complex liability exposures.
Key responsibilities
- Adjudicate claims, investigate, negotiate settlements, and maintain accurate documentation
- Monitor claims in litigation, ensuring timely responses and adherence to best practices
- Coach team members, manage performance feedback, and facilitate ongoing training
Required qualifications
- High school diploma; college degree preferred, with technical designations such as AIC and CPCU encouraged
- Active state-specific Life & Health/Property Casualty Insurance agent's license required or ability to acquire within three months of hire
- 8-10 years of experience in adjusting property and casualty claims, including litigated claims
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of General and Auto Liability coverages and claims processing procedures
