State Licensed Litigation Consultant

Job Summary

To address high-end cases involving serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios, the full-time State Licensed Litigation Consultant will develop strategies for satisfactory resolutions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews reports and inquiries, seeking legal opinions and early resolutions while communicating outcomes to relevant parties
• Handles complex cases, formulates defense strategies, and identifies opportunities for settlements and subrogation
• Coordinates with local counsel, monitors their performance, and participates in mediations, trials, or hearings as necessary

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent, with in-depth knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies
• State adjusting licenses as required for the position
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Technical skills in legal pleadings and discovery, along with strong negotiation and organizational abilities
