Job Summary

A company is looking for a Litigation Management Counsel responsible for overseeing complex litigation and coordinating with outside counsel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess litigation for extra contractual exposure and educate Claims personnel on legal issues
  • Evaluate and investigate complex and high exposure cases while recommending strategies and settlements
  • Monitor outside counsel to ensure adherence to litigation plans and objectives
Required Qualifications
  • JD degree and active membership in a State Bar or registered as in-house counsel in California
  • Minimum of seven years as an attorney, with five years in insurance bad faith matters preferred
  • Experience advising senior management and delivering training on legal or claims issues
  • Strong collaborative working style with a commitment to meeting individual and team goals
  • Excellent presentation skills and customer service ethics focused on complex business and legal challenges
