Job Summary
Managing complex high-exposure casualty claims, the full-time State Licensed Major Case Specialist will utilize advanced claim-handling expertise to oversee investigations, coverage analysis, and settlement negotiations in a professional remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Manages a portfolio of high-severity claims from assignment through resolution, including investigation, liability assessment, and settlement
- Analyzes policy language and develops claim resolution plans that align with company objectives and legal requirements
- Collaborates with defense counsel and other partners to support effective claim resolution and communicates strategies to stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- More than 10 years of experience in a related claims role
- Strong background in handling complex casualty claims, including bodily injury and construction defect matters
- Various state adjusters' licenses are required
- CPCU, AIC, or other related professional designation is preferred
- Experience in coverage analysis, reserve evaluations, and settlement negotiations is strongly preferred
