Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director and Managing Counsel (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial legal support for sales, operations, marketing, and product teams
• Develop and implement strategies for efficient contracting processes and vendor operations
• Provide legal analysis and guidance on key business initiatives and complex legal matters

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school and a member of the bar in at least one state or the District of Columbia
• 10+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years managing lawyers in-house
• Experience in a marketplace company with B2B and B2C operations is a plus
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of developing and guiding teams
• Direct experience with drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts
