Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managing Counsel, Claims (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and counsel to the Claims Department on various legal issues during claims handling
• Advise on complex claims and large losses with potential legal exposure to drive resolution
• Deliver training on emerging legal trends and collaborate with business colleagues on claims handling recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing within State of Practice
• 7 or more years of claims legal experience
• 3 or more years of coverage experience
