State Licensed MD Team Leader

Job Summary

Leading a team of nurse practitioners, the full-time State Licensed MD Team Leader will mentor and develop clinicians while managing a small patient panel, focusing on clinical excellence and operational improvement in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of physicians to achieve clinical, operational, and engagement goals
• Monitor team performance across quality, clinical outcomes, and productivity metrics while conducting regular performance reviews
• Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in care delivery and support the implementation of new programs and workflows

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. state
• Board certification in a relevant specialty
• 2+ years of direct people management experience, including coaching and performance management
• Demonstrated success in leading teams to achieve clinical, quality, and engagement goals
• Strong coaching and feedback skills, with a passion for developing physicians and future leaders
