State Licensed Medical Assistant

Job Summary

To support a virtual and home-based medical practice, the full-time State Licensed Medical Assistant will coordinate care for members through telehealth visits, manage orders and follow-ups, and serve as a liaison between healthcare services and patients, with occasional weekend hours available.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing members for telehealth visits and ensuring comfort during video onboarding
• Coordinating care services, including durable medical equipment, lab testing, and follow-up communications
• Advocating for members by addressing care coordination issues and providing educational materials

Required qualifications

• MA Certification (active or expired) required
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
• Two years of patient-facing experience, with telehealth experience preferred
• Prior primary care experience is a plus
• Ability to manage a large member panel and adapt to frequent changes
