Job Summary
To support high-quality virtual care, the full-time State Licensed Medical Assistant will assist with care coordination, patient education, and technology navigation for patients with various acute and chronic conditions, working remotely from 7am to 4pm EST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate care for low-acuity, non-emergent medical conditions through virtual consultations, including patient intake and evaluations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and manage referral queues effectively
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and provide patient-centered support, addressing individual needs and fostering strong relationships
Required Qualifications:
- Completed an accredited medical assistant or nursing assistant program, or possess an LPN with a compact license
- Current national certification in medical assisting from an organization such as AAMA or NHA
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in primary care or urgent care
- Proficiency in telemedicine, virtual care technologies, and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
- Strong commitment to patient care, quality, and clinical excellence
