Job Summary

Analyzing medical records and bills for causality, the part-time State Licensed Medical Claims Consultant will evaluate claimant care, conduct medical journal research, and prepare case summaries while working a flexible schedule of 8 to 100 hours per month.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze medical records and bills for relatedness and causality
• Review medical records to evaluate claimant care and status
• Prepare case summaries and organize medical evidence for clients

Required qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse (RN) with a license in the state of residence
• At least 3 years of clinical experience and 1 year as a reviewer
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to navigate multiple software platforms and extract information accurately
• Strong written communication skills with proficient grammar and sentence structure
