Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director - Behavioral Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive behavioral health care management and improve program efficiency
• Lead and oversee the utilization management team, including high-risk case management
• Develop and evaluate clinical programs and medical policies related to behavioral health

Required Qualifications

• Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice experience as a psychiatrist
• Active and current state medical license without encumbrances (MD or DO)
• Experience with managed care as a provider and manager of care is preferred
• Child/Adolescent Board Certification is a plus
