State Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director (Medical Affairs).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support and consultative activities across the PBM
• Oversee utilization management activities, including prior authorization and appeals
• Participate in clinical investigations and research as requested by senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in direct patient care
• At least 2 years of experience in clinical outcomes with knowledge of medical statistics
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the respective state
• Graduate of an accredited Medical School and Residency Program
