Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director responsible for providing clinical oncology expertise regarding cancer treatment and diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform prior authorization reviews of chemotherapy treatment requests, including peer-to-peer consultations with treating physicians
• Engage in quality improvement activities focused on accuracy, efficiency, and rapid uptake of emerging evidence
• Serve as a clinical expert for strategic initiatives related to real-world oncology data and analytics

Required Qualifications

• Medical Doctor or comparable degree required
• Board certification in an oncology-focused specialty and current unrestricted Medical Doctor license in good standing in the United States
• 3 years of post-training clinical practice experience
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
