Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director for MSK Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical direction for utilization review processes, ensuring quality determinations and managing appeals
• Conduct clinical audits and hold educational forums for Field Medical Directors
• Collaborate with Physician Business Managers to support Field Medical Directors and assist in the new hire process

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized medical degree program
• Minimum of five (5+) years' experience in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
• At least two (2) years of administrative medical experience in Utilization Management or a leadership role
• Active Board Certification in Orthopedic Spine Surgery or Orthopedic Surgery with Spine expertise
• Possession of one or more current, unrestricted state licenses
