State Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

To support a growing utilization management practice, the full-time State Licensed Medical Director will perform clinical utilization management, peer review activities, and clinical quality management while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform utilization management case reviews and maintain productivity and quality scores
• Train across all queues as requested and complete client-specific training
• Actively participate in the evaluation process and company meetings

Required qualifications

• MD/DO degree with a current, unrestricted medical license in a state of the United States
• Minimum of five years' experience providing direct clinical care to patients
• Experience administering utilization management and peer review programs preferred
• Credentialed and privileged by the company's Credentialing Committee
• Board certification by an ABMS or AOA-approved medical specialty board preferred
