State Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

To support a growing multi-state clinical platform, the full-time State Licensed Medical Director will lead clinical quality and governance efforts, mentor clinical leaders, and drive the development of scalable addiction medicine protocols in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a senior clinical leader and subject matter expert in addiction medicine, ensuring high-quality care delivery
• Partner with Clinical Services leadership to enhance clinical quality, consistency, and patient safety across the organization
• Translate operational priorities and emerging evidence into effective clinical workflows and care delivery standards

Required qualifications

• Board Certification in Addiction Medicine with an active medical license in good standing
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience caring for patients with substance use disorders
• Demonstrated experience leading clinicians and clinical programs in a growing organization
• Experience developing and implementing clinical protocols and evidence-based standards across multiple sites
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence across functions
