Job Summary
Leading care, case, and utilization management programs, the full-time State Licensed Medical Director will set clinical direction, drive program performance, and ensure high-quality care delivery in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the clinical escalation point for care management programs and maintain clinical standards
- Design and evolve clinical operating models across various populations to align with population health strategies
- Lead and develop clinical teams, conducting performance reviews and fostering a diverse talent pool
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, med-peds, or a related specialty with at least 7 years of post-residency clinical experience
- A minimum of 5 years in a healthcare leadership role with oversight of clinical teams
- Active, unrestricted medical license in good standing in the state of residence, with multi-state licensure or willingness to obtain it
- Proven track record of achieving operational KPIs in a performance-driven healthcare setting
