Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mental Health Reviewing Physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Review documentation from Independent Medical Examinations for adequacy, consistency, and credibility
• Communicate discrepancies or issues between the IME provider and the Mental Health Reviewing Consultant
• Provide written recommendations regarding employees' fitness for duty based on psychiatric evaluations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current, active, and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state or territory
• Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Minimum of five years of experience in forensic law enforcement hiring/screening
• Preferred experience in reviewing FFDE cases for psychological and psychiatric illness of law enforcement
• Experience in performing psychiatric and mental health consultations and submitting recommendations
