Job Summary

A company is looking for a Military Program Counselor (Tele-work).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide private, confidential, non-medical counseling on various topics including relationship issues, military transitions, personal stress, life goals, and financial stress
• Utilize a short-term, solution-focused counseling model for eligible participants
• Ensure services comply with Military Program eligibility requirements without providing clinical mental health treatment

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; Spanish fluency may be required in certain areas
• Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health-related field
• Current, valid, unrestricted counseling license/certification in the relevant state or territory
• Demonstrated counseling competence prior to performing under the Military contract
• Must pass criminal history, fingerprint, and credential review/verification as per DODI 1402.05
