Job Summary

A company is looking for a Freelance Mongolian On-Demand Interpreter.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately interprets messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers
• Adheres to the National Standards of Practice and National Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Health Care
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of interpreting experience, preferably OPI/VRI
• National or State Interpreter Certification (e.g., CHI, CMI, NIC, CI/CT, VQAS)
• Knowledgeable command of medical, educational, and social services terminology in both languages
• At least 40 hours of interpreter training
• Demonstrated fluency in English and the target language, with fluency test results
