State Licensed Music Teacher

Job Summary

Seeking a State Licensed Music Teacher for a part-time remote position, responsible for managing online instructional programs, providing personalized feedback on assignments, and communicating regularly with students to ensure successful course completion.

Key responsibilities

• Support the instructional program through synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions
• Provide prompt, high-quality feedback on assignments and maintain up-to-date student performance information
• Consult with team members to develop lesson modifications and alternate enrichment activities for student success

Required qualifications

• Valid state teaching certificate in Music for TX, MI, and PA
• Bachelor's degree and completion of a traditional teacher preparation program at an accredited institution
• Ability to obtain certification in other states as needed
• Experience with IEP/504 plans and their implementation in a virtual setting
• Strong technology skills, preferably with Microsoft Office or Google Apps
