State Licensed Nurse Informaticist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the State Licensed Nurse Informaticist will serve as a strategic liaison between clinical operations and information technology, focusing on optimizing technology use in patient care delivery, implementing electronic health record (EHR) systems, and enhancing clinician efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and optimization of clinical applications, ensuring alignment with organizational quality improvement initiatives
• Conduct workflow assessments and apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency
• Develop and deliver training programs for clinical staff to facilitate the adoption of new technologies and workflows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 5 years of clinical healthcare experience
• Minimum 3 years of clinical informatics or EHR optimization experience
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, or other enterprise EHR platforms
