Job Summary
To support a growing practice focused on addiction medicine, a full-time State Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide telemedicine-based care for adult patients with opioid use disorder, managing their treatment continuity and addressing co-occurring mental health conditions remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide assessment and ongoing treatment for a panel of up to 275 adults with Opioid Use Disorder
- Diagnose Opioid Use Disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions while managing treatment with buprenorphine-naloxone
- Collaborate with the care team and actively participate in clinical meetings and practice improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- Valid license to practice medicine and DEA license in the home state, with eligibility to obtain licenses in multiple states
- At least 1 year of Buprenorphine prescribing experience in relevant medical practice environments
- Experience with telehealth services is a significant advantage
- Preferred experience in motivational interviewing and strong skills in building provider-patient relationships
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
