Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time State Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide telemedicine-based care for adult patients with opioid use disorder, managing their treatment continuity and addressing co-occurring mental health conditions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a panel of up to 275 adults with opioid use disorder, including initial treatment and ongoing care
- Utilize motivational interviewing and engagement techniques to optimize patient outcomes while collaborating with the care team for additional services
- Participate in clinical team meetings and quality improvement activities, contributing to practice policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- Valid license to practice medicine and DEA license in the home state, with eligibility to obtain licenses in multiple states
- At least 1 year of experience prescribing buprenorphine in relevant practice environments
- Experience in telehealth is preferred
- Strong ability to build effective provider-patient relationships and foster adherence to collaboratively developed care plans
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
