State Licensed Nursing Educator

Job Summary

Engaging in innovative distance education, the remote Assistant Professor, Didactic will facilitate nursing curriculum delivery, monitor learner progress, and participate in faculty activities while promoting advanced practice nursing education.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain communication with learners regarding attendance, performance, and evaluation in accordance with course outcomes
• Participate in nursing faculty meetings and committees, contributing to shared decision-making and faculty activities
• Assist in the development and modification of the nursing curriculum and engage in various instructional modalities as needed

Required qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in higher nursing education, preferably in online education
• Earned Graduate degree with a major in nursing from an accredited institution
• Active, unencumbered RN or APRN license from state of residence with the ability to obtain multi-state licensure
• Either holds a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential or commits to obtaining it within one year
• Maintains current knowledge in multiple areas of nursing practice
