State Licensed Oncology Data Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Oncology Data Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily abstraction of cancer cases into the cancer registry database
• Run and resolve EDIT's prior to submission of cases to the State Central Registry and NCDB
• Maintain documentation of all records and submit cases to the State Central Registry as required

Required Qualifications

• Oncology Data Specialist Certification with 2 years of ODS credentials
• 3 years of recent abstracting experience
• 90% abstracting quality score required
• Knowledge of OncoLog and Epic is a plus
• Ability to abstract cases within six months from the first contact date
