Job Summary

To provide remote eye care services, a State Licensed Optometrist will work as an independent contractor, examining patients and generating prescriptions using patented technology, with flexible scheduling options available for both full-time and part-time roles.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients remotely in the states where licensed using specialized video conference technology
• Analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses with the support of Ophthalmic Technicians
• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure a comprehensive eye care experience

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Active state license to practice optometry
• Experience with telehealth or remote patient care is preferred
• Multiple state licenses are a plus
• Ability to work independently as an independent contractor
