Job Summary

To support a growing tele-optometry practice, a State Licensed Optometrist will examine patients remotely, communicate via specialized video technology, and analyze eye health while generating prescriptions, available for both full-time and part-time independent contractor roles.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients using patented remote technology in licensed states
• Communicate with patients through specialized video conferencing tools
• Analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses with support from Ophthalmic Technicians

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree
• Current state license to practice optometry
• Experience with telehealth or remote patient care is preferred
• Multiple state licenses are a plus
• Ability to work independently as a contractor
