Job Summary
Managing end-to-end company licensing and regulatory support activities, the full-time State Licensed Paralegal will prepare, submit, and track applications for healthcare-related licenses while ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and track applications for state substance use disorder treatment facility and laboratory licenses across multiple states
- Monitor license status, key dates, and renewal deadlines, maintaining an accurate licensing calendar
- Liaise with state and federal agencies to resolve application issues and maintain organized electronic and physical files for all licenses and permits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Paralegal certificate from an accredited program strongly preferred or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Paralegal, Licensing Specialist, or in a similar role
- Prior experience with licensing in healthcare or other highly regulated industries strongly preferred
- Access to reliable internet and telephone services with specified bandwidth requirements for remote work
