Job Summary

To support the growth of a virtual obesity medicine clinic, the full-time State Licensed Patient Care Manager will lead and develop the Patient Care Coordination team, ensuring high-quality patient interactions and operational excellence in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Patient Care Coordinators, providing coaching and performance feedback to ensure high-quality service
• Oversee patient care coordination, including managing escalations and ensuring effective communication between patients and their care team
• Lead operational projects and monitor key performance indicators to enhance team efficiency and patient satisfaction

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role preferred
• Active Medical Assistant Certificate
• Experience in leading teams within a fast-paced digital health or telehealth environment
• Strong understanding of medical practice operations and professionalism standards
• Proficient in computer skills and platforms such as Slack and Google Workspace
