State Licensed Payroll Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processes and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of all payroll transactions and related tax and benefit compliance
• Process and review bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll in North America (US and Canada)
• Maintain compliance for Federal, Provincial, Multi-State, and City/Local payroll regulations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state experience
• Extensive knowledge of US and Canadian payroll compliance standards
• Experience with ADP payroll processing system
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments
• US Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is preferred
