State Licensed Personal Health Advocate

Job Summary

To enhance member support, the full-time remote State Licensed Personal Health Advocate will assist clients in navigating the healthcare system, provide education on medical conditions, and facilitate access to healthcare providers and services.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and manage calls from members regarding various healthcare issues, determining the best course of action
• Build relationships with members to develop collaborative plans of action and encourage ongoing communication
• Facilitate communication among members, physicians, and insurance carriers while assisting with scheduling and resolving healthcare-related issues

Required qualifications

• BSN or RN degree from an accredited college or university required
• Active and unrestricted State or Multi-State RN License
• Minimum three to five years of clinical and/or medical management experience
• Understanding of medical terminology to assist in locating appropriate care options
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
