Job Summary

Providing essential support to members, the full-time State Licensed Personal Health Advocate will assist individuals in navigating healthcare systems, educate them on medical conditions, and facilitate access to healthcare services while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and manage calls from members regarding healthcare issues, determining the best course of action
• Build relationships with members to develop personalized plans of action and facilitate communication with healthcare providers and insurance carriers
• Document cases and maintain accurate records while staying updated on health issues and medical procedures

Required qualifications

• BSN or RN degree from an accredited college or university
• Active and unrestricted State or Multi-State RN License
• Three to five years of clinical and/or medical management experience
• Understanding of medical terminology to assist in locating appropriate care options
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
