Job Summary
Providing expert support to members, the full-time remote State Licensed Personal Health Advocate will assist individuals in navigating healthcare systems, facilitate access to services, and educate them on their medical conditions and options.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and manage calls from members regarding healthcare issues, determining the best course of action while adhering to policies and performance indicators
- Build and maintain relationships with members, collaborating to develop personalized action plans and encouraging ongoing communication
- Facilitate communication among members, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers, assisting with appointment scheduling and resolving various healthcare-related issues
Required qualifications
- BSN or RN degree from an accredited college or university
- Three to five years of clinical and/or medical management experience
- Active and unrestricted State or Multi-State RN License
- Understanding of medical terminology to assist in locating appropriate care options
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
