State Licensed Pharmacist

Job Summary

To support a dynamic call center environment, the part-time contract State Licensed Pharmacist will review Prior Authorization cases, consult with healthcare providers, and make coverage determinations while working remotely within the CST time zone.

Key responsibilities:

• Decisioning and processing member prescriptions or prior authorizations through various computer systems
• Consulting with physicians and pharmacy technicians regarding medication use and formulary alternatives
• Gathering complex clinical information to make coverage determinations in compliance with regulatory guidelines

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Doctorate of Pharmacy degree
• Active State Pharmacist License in the state of residence
• Availability to work 5 days a week, including potential weekends and holidays
• Ability to maintain a secure workspace and reliable internet access
• Proficient in using computer systems and navigating multiple screens
