State Licensed Pharmacy Care Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinator to enhance the specialty pharmacy experience for patients and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete prior authorizations and source financial assistance for patients
• Process pharmacy claims and coordinate medication dispensing and shipping
• Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and pharmacists to improve patient experience

Required Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician, licensed practical nurse, or similar licensure as required in the applicable state
• Technician registration or licensure in the state of employment; national certification as CPhT preferred
• Experience with specialty medication benefits investigation and prior authorization
• Familiarity with specialty medications, especially in autoimmune, endocrinology, and oncology
• Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and willingness to learn new technologies
