State Licensed Pharmacy Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing the clinical pharmacy services function, the full-time State Licensed Pharmacy Manager will ensure accurate and timely prior authorization requests, develop quality improvement initiatives, and maintain compliance with regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all prior authorization requests are reviewed and completed accurately and timely
• Research and develop new cost reduction, pricing, and quality improvement activities
• Oversee the development and implementation of medication therapy management programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (PharmD., M.S) in pharmacy
• 4+ years of experience in mail order, retail, hospital, or managed care pharmacy or pharmacy residency program experience
• Current state's pharmacy license
• Management experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Visio, Excel, and Word
