Job Summary

A company is looking for an Initial Review Pharmacy Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews patient information and makes approval recommendations based on clinical criteria
• Conducts Program Integrity Audits and maintains compliance with policies and procedures
• Contacts physicians to gather clinical information and determines medication reimbursement eligibility

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; HS diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of pharmacy experience
• Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration in accordance with state requirements
• Experience in specialty or retail pharmacy, reimbursement, or health care settings
• Comfortable using computers and basic Microsoft Office skills
