Job Summary

Contributing to the optimization of medication-related healthcare outcomes, the full-time State Licensed Pharmacy Technician will perform reviews of prior authorization requests, accurately enter approvals or denials, and assist in resolving member prescription claims and pharmacy service access issues.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform initial receipt and review of non-formulary or prior authorization requests against pharmacy plan criteria
  • Facilitate prior authorization requests and participate in the development of pharmacy programs to enhance drug utilization
  • Assist Molina member services and providers in resolving prescription claims and pharmacy service access issues
Required qualifications
  • At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience or equivalent relevant education and experience
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and/or active and unrestricted state pharmacy technician license
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive work relationships with coworkers and clients
