Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the remote State Licensed Pharmacy Technician will provide expertise and customer service support for prior authorization requests, handling inbound calls and processing medication authorizations while ensuring high-quality service in the CST timezone.

Key responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls for prior authorization requests from providers and members, managing up to 70 calls per day
  • Process prior authorizations using various computer systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established guidelines
  • Resolve issues and complaints promptly while maintaining a focus on patient safety and quality of work
Required qualifications
  • Active National (PTCB) and/or State Board of Pharmacy Technician Licensure
  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience in a healthcare setting
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Open availability with no scheduling restrictions
  • High School Diploma or GED
