State Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support timely medication coverage, the seasonal State Licensed Pharmacy Technician will work remotely to assist members, providers, and pharmacies by verifying eligibility, managing prior authorization requests, and coordinating clinical reviews over a 6-month contract.

Key responsibilities:

• Verify eligibility and drug coverage under plan benefit design for claims processing
• Triaging clinical review processes for prior authorization requests according to established protocols
• Organize and prioritize requests to ensure timely management of prior authorization cases

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
• Active Pharmacy Technician license required
• 2-4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• 2+ years of experience in prior authorization review at a PBM or health plan required
• Proficiency in Mac, MS Office, and G-Suite required
