State Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

Serving as the primary point of contact for members, providers, and pharmacies, the full-time hourly State Licensed Pharmacy Technician will provide accurate support on prescription benefits, refill requests, and claims processing in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and educate callers on prescription benefits, formulary coverage, and claim inquiries
• Assist network pharmacies with processing prescription claims and conducting prior authorization checks
• Document interactions and resolutions in internal systems to ensure compliance and continuity of care

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Active/Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification required (PTCB or NHA)
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a health plan, retail pharmacy, or PBM contact center
• Working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication and PBM terminology
• Familiarity with computer applications and ability to learn new systems
