State Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

Assisting members and providers remotely, the seasonal State Licensed Pharmacy Technician will verify eligibility, triage prior authorization requests, and manage clinical review processes for a duration of six months.

Key responsibilities

• Verify drug coverage and eligibility under the plan benefit design to ensure appropriate claims processing
• Manage the clinical review process for prior authorization requests, including prescriber and pharmacy outreach
• Coordinate and prioritize multiple requests to ensure timely case management for prior authorizations

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
• Active Pharmacy Technician license required
• 2-4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• 2+ years of experience in prior authorization review preferred
• Proficiency in Mac, MS Office, and G-Suite required
