Job Summary
To lead clinical revenue cycle initiatives, the full-time State Licensed Principal Clinician will manage documentation integrity, coding accuracy, and denials management while working remotely across the United States.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end clinical revenue cycle quality, ensuring documentation and coding accuracy across all agents
- Build and implement clinical documentation improvement (CDI) and coding-accuracy programs, along with denials management strategies
- Produce customer-facing RCM performance reports and define clinical/financial metrics to drive decision-making
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive clinical experience, with at least 5 years in revenue cycle management or related fields
- Demonstrated leadership in RCM or coding-accuracy programs at scale
- Working fluency with ICD-10, CPT, HCC/risk-adjustment coding, and CMS reimbursement standards
- Active and unrestricted US RN license (or equivalent clinical licensure); BSN required, MSN, MHA, MBA, or MPH preferred
- Data literacy to read queries and critique metric definitions in collaboration with analytics and finance teams
