Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Creditors Rights Counsel to provide legal support and strategic guidance on distressed and non-performing real estate loan assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead legal in assessing and restructuring distressed and non-performing loans and enforcing lender rights
- Draft, review, and negotiate workout and enforcement documents
- Coordinate and manage outside counsel in foreclosure, bankruptcy, and litigation matters
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance transactions and loan enforcement matters
- Deep understanding of real estate loan documentation and creditors' rights
- Familiarity with loan servicing and loss mitigation strategies
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in at least one U.S. State Bar
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal capabilities
